8.8" Differential Clutch Spring
Replace the broken differential clutch spring in your 1986-2004 Mustang with this Ford original replacement! This spring, often referred to as the "S" spring, is a vital component inside your differential. It's job is to hold pressure against the clutch discs to ensure both wheels spin when you launch. Over time, the spring can lose it's tension or even break under heavy loads. This Ford spring is a direct replacement for your original and fits all 8.8" rear ends equipped with 28 spline axles.
Fitment Note
Will NOT work with 31 spline axles.
