SVO Emblem The SVO Mustang was one of the first "European tuner cars". Featuring a fuel injected 2.3L turbo, 5 lug wheels and disc brakes, these cars were a lot of fun to drive. Held in high regard today by many Mustang owners, but because of low production runs there is not the large availability of aftermarket and reproduction parts like for the 5.0L V8 Mustangs. This factory style emblem for your 1984-86 Mustang 2.3L SVO were originally found on the front fenders and rear hatch but can apply to any flat surface. All emblems are sold as each unless otherwise noted.
Quick Emblem Removal Many people heat the original Mustang emblem badge with a hair dryer to loosen the double sided tape. Fishing line or dental floss held in each hand can be pulled behind the emblem to finish separating it from the Mustang body. Once started, the emblem badge can be removed by placing a thin flat object between emblem and body being careful not to scratch paint. Apply light steady pressure to break the seal of the double sided tape and gently pry and pull until the emblem is free of the body.
