Ford 8.8" Pinion Crush Sleeve
Install a fresh pinion crush sleeve when working on your 1986-2014 Mustang's 8.8" rear differential with this Ford replacement. When you are setting up a new set of gears, having a new or extra pinion crush sleeve is a must. The crush sleeve is a collapsible spacer that installs on the pinion and preloads the pinion bearings. Crush sleeves are not reusable and must be replaced if the pinion nut is loosened or removed. Ford's crush sleeve is made from a strong steel construction to the correct height and diameter.
