8.8" Pinion Flange Seal
If you're seeing rear end fluid on the garage floor or notice dampness on the differential housing, it may be time to replace your Mustang's pinion seal. The pinion seal is located on the back side of your pinion flange that the driveshaft connects to. This seal can become brittle and crack over the years which causes gear fluid to leak out. This seal is a Ford original that fits 1986-2014 Mustang with 8.8" rear axle. The seal features a new rubber seal in the center as well as a new seal around the outside perimeter for leak-free performance!
