These cylinders can start to leak or go out over time, leaving you with an inoperable top. Convertibles use hydraulic cylinders or "rams" to actuate the raising or lowering of the top. Built to factory specs, this cylinder is made with high-quality materials that are built to last. These 1994-1998 Mustang convertible top hydraulic cylinders are brand new and are recommended to be used with Royal Purple MAX ATF fluid, to prolong the life of your cylinder seals. They are sold individually and are the same for the right or left side of your Mustang.
