Replace your worn-out Ford 8.8 pinion flange with this Ford original replacement for your 2005-2014 Mustang GT or GT500. The pinion flange is what retains your rear pinion gear and is used to join the driveshaft to the rear axle assembly. Tightening the pinion nut against it compresses the crush sleeve and pre-loads the pinion bearings. The pinion seal rides on the flange, and over time, the seal wears a groove in the sealing surface, causing gear oil leaks and other issues such as vibration and, in some instances, gear howl. Get your Mustang driveline in proper working order with this high-quality replacement pinion flange!
