Outer Door Belt WeatherstripRestore the cracked and dried up outer door belt weatherstrip on your 1979-1986 Mustang with this pair from Daniel Carpenter! The outer door belt weatherstrip, sometimes called "dew wipe", is located to the top of the door belt molding and presses against the door glass to seal it off from water. Often times this piece dry rots and cracks which can be painful if you rest your arm on the window sill while driving. Manufactured from a durable, high-quality rubber that provides a tight seal, this weatherstrip will remain soft and supple for years to come. While the soft felt backing keep your door glass from being scratched. Designed to fit snuggly on the door with the correct preinstalled retaining tabs, this kit works on the both sides on Coupe, Hatchback, Convertible, and T-Top models and requires no cutting or trimming for installation. These weatherstrips are installed into the aluminum belt trim with a slight twisting motion allowing the preinstalled retainers slide in and hold it in place.
