Replace your warped or damaged flexplate on your 1996-2004 Mustang 4.6 with a factory-style Pioneer 164 tooth 6-bolt 4R70 flexplate. The flex plate connects the crankshaft of the engine to the transmission torque converter and has the starter ring gear attached to allow proper stater engagement. Made of a thick piece of heavy gauge steel with the correct bolt holes for the torque converter and teeth count for the starter. A damaged flex plate can create serious engine or transmission damage. Designed with a 164-tooth ring gear and the correct balance, this is a direct replacement for your factory 1996-2004 Mustang 4.6 flexplate.
