Located in the oil pan, the low oil level sensor gaskets ensure that oil remains in the engine by sealing up the sensor to the pan. After years of your engine running, the gasket can become brittle and fail, causing an oil leak. Featuring a 1 piece design, replace the leaking seal by utilizing the molded rubber with a steel-reinforced construction and correct OE dimensions of this new seal. If you plan on taking the level sensor out, it is good to replace your seal as preventive maintenance. Ensure your 5.0 or 4.6 Mustang engine stays properly lubricated without having any leaks!
