Routine transmission maintenance should include fluid change, as well as a new filter, every 30,000 miles. This Motorcraft 6R80 transmission service kit replaces your clogged filter with a new filter to ensure no harmful debris will be swimming around the new fluid. Twelve quarts of Motorcraft Mercon-LV automatic transmission fluid are included to fully replace your dirty fluid in both the case and torque converter. Mercon-LV fluid provides superior wear protection, as well as smoother shifts, for long lasting performance! Featuring the factory filter connections, this Motorcraft 6R80 service kit will get your transmission shifting like new again! A new LubeLocker transmission pan gasket is included to seal everything up tightly! The elastomer bead provides a leak-free seal with no RTV silicone required!
Product Note
This kit is intended to be used on a dry case, convertor, and cooler line step. If you are only doing a simple pan drop, normally 3-5 quarts will be used from this kit.
