Replace the leaking shift rod seal in your 2005-2010 Mustang's TR-3650 transmission with this quality OE replacement from Ford! It is common to overlook this seal as it can often be the culprit of a leaking tail housing on your transmission. This shift rod seal prevents transmission fluid from leaking out of the end of the transmission where the rod goes through the housing. Over the years, the rubber can dry up, causing the seal to wear out, which can lead to leaks and other problems. The most common symptom of a shift rod seal going bad is fluid leaking from the rear of the transmission. If too much fluid is lost, you run the risk of suffering internal damage from low lubrication. Featuring Ford's durable rubber and factory-correct dimensions, this new seal is a great replacement for the old worn seal in your 2005-2010 Mustang's TR-3650 transmission!
