Accurately check your transmission fluid level in your automatic-equipped 1994-2004 Mustang GT with this Dorman dipstick! A common issue on the Mustangs is that the dipstick handle becomes brittle and breaks off when you check your fluid level. After years of numerous services and excessive heat from the engine, the dipstick can become deformed or bent, causing an irritating problem when checking the level. Often damaged or completely rusted out, the factory dipstick tube can cause issues with getting the correct readings of your fluid level, adding fluid, or even causing leaks. The dipstick tube will be installed directly into the passenger side of your transmission case and secured to the back of the engine with the original bolts. Replacing a broken dipstick and tube is a small part that makes a big difference when doing maintenance on your SN95 or New Edge, so pick up a Dorman transmission dipstick and get the job done.

Dorman's dipstick comes with a pull-ring style black plastic handle with yellow text, making it easy to find in the engine bay. Made to the correct length to ensure accurate readings, the steel dipstick has the correct design and fill range measurements, making it an exact match. The dipstick tube is completed in a durable black finish, the steel dipstick tube is pre-bent to be the exact shape to match your original. To ensure all of the fluid stays inside the transmission, there is a preinstalled O-ring seal where the dipstick goes through the case. Providing a seal is the installed o-rings, ensuring all of the precious fluid stays in the transmission and the elements out.
