Our extreme-duty adjustable Mustang clutch cable allows for exact adjustment of clutch pedal position at the threaded adjustable clutch fork end, as well as at the firewall. Whether you are drive on the highway or the track, this Mustang clutch cable kit has your bases covered. This complete Mustang clutch cable kit is a great upgrade for your 1982-95 5.0L or 1994-04 Mustang 3.8L V6. Featuring a heavy-duty Teflon-lined cable with durable metal fittings, a billet aluminum double hook quadrant, a billet firewall adjuster with locking nut, and a clutch cable bracket to frame bolt.
Installation The LRS-7553H is shipped with a reducer sleeve installed in the adjuster. Not all clutch cables require the use of this reducer. Included in the package is a small Allen wrench. On the knurled part of the adjuster's face (the part you would grab to turn it), there is a small threaded hole that has a set screw in it that is tightened down & holding the reducer sleeve in place. Use the Allen wrench to remove the set screw and you can remove the reducer. Now the cable will fit into place.
