This piece attaches to the inside of the quarter panel well molding where the quarter window rises. Years of up and down movement and constant pressure from the window causes this weatherstrip to deform which leads to wind noise and exterior elements entering the car. Daniel Carpenter created this exact reproduction of the original to remedy these issues as well as provide stability for your quarter windows! Manufactured with a high-quality rubber construction, these quarter belt weatherstrips are built to last. Factory-style felt lining is applied to the inside of this piece to prevent scratching on the quarter glass. Each weatherstrip has pre-cut holes that accept the included low-profile mounting screws for a quick and easy installation. Installation Note
On 1994-1998 Mustang these were originally attached to the moldings with wire staples and the 1999-2004 Mustangs a bend-over retainer tab design was used. You will attach the replacement outer quarter window seals with the supplied low-profile screws directly to the original metal belt moldings. Two screws are used per side.
