5.0 Resto 93 Cobra Style Alternator Pulley

Get that factory-correct look on your 1993 Cobra with this 93 Cobra alternator pulley! From the factory, the 1993 Cobra engine had underdrive pulleys in comparison to the regular 5.0 engines. These smaller pulleys improved horsepower because of the reduced drag on the engine. 5.0 Resto's Cobra alternator pulley is a direct replacement for 1993 Cobras, simply unbolt your old pulley, then bolt this new pulley in place!

5.0 Resto Quality

5.0 Resto is dedicated to the preservation of the Fox Body and it shows even in small products like this alternator pulley. Manufactured with high-strength steel, this pulley is durable and built to last. The 6-rib design mimics the factory pulley and allows you to maintain a serpentine-style belt. A black, E-coat finish is applied to resist corrosion and provide a factory look in your engine bay for years to come!

Product Note

Due to the different shaft lengths with aftermarket alternators, primarily 3G-style alternators, the lock washer may need to be removed/omitted. If this is required for your application, apply a blue thread locking compound to the threads and tighten the retaining nut. Verify that there is adequate clearance between the rear of the pulley and the alternator housing, and the retaining nut properly bottoms out against the pulley.
Must be used with 93 Cobra-style crank pulley LRS-8221D or equivalent. Do not use a stock-size 1987-1993 5.0 crank pulley as it will overdrive the alternator which is not recommended.

May cause charging issues if the car is equipped with aftermarket electronics overloading the alternator.
Will NOT work with 3G-style alternators. Only for use with factory-style 2G alternator with an external fan.
