The replacement cost can get very expensive after you get all of the corresponding parts needed. This Mustang A/C delete kit will solve your a/c woes with a budget-friendly price and installation. This kit removes your A/C compressor with a couple of brackets that move your power steering pump up. This cuts down on parasitic loss by letting your engine focus on fewer accessories to turn. 5.0 Resto designed this kit to work for the 1979-1984 Mustang 5.0 that uses a different power steering bracket and pulley than the later 1985-1993 Mustangs. In order to correct this, 5.0 Resto includes the correct power steering bracket and pulley for a perfect fit.
High-Quality Construction
The brackets in this kit feature a cast aluminum power steering bracket and a heavy-duty stamped steel mounting bracket for strength and durability. The brackets are the same thickness as the factory for proper spacing as well as ensuring they don't bend under load. Supplied with a 5.0 Resto power steering pulley has these made to the exact OE dimensions but made from durable steel construction, unlike your factory plastic pulley. A durable black coating finish has been applied to these steel brackets for corrosion resistance. All of the correct length hardware that is zinc or black oxide finished is included for a hassle-free installation.
