Mustang Team Z Bumpsteer Kit
Correct the suspension geometry on your lowered 1994-2004 Mustang with this Team Z bumpsteer kit! After lowering your Mustang, your suspension's geometry is altered, which could lead to increased bumpsteer. Team Z's bumpsteer kit resolves this problem with their adjustable design! Featuring 6061-T6 billet aluminum bodies, with 4130 Molly Hiem joints, and Kevlar/Nylon races; this kit is built to last! Hardened steel threaded pins allow you to adjust the geometry exactly where you want it. Add a set to your lowered Mustang to eliminate bumpsteer!
What Is Bumpsteer
Bump steer is a change in toe angle caused by the suspension moving up or down. Bump steer is built into the geometry of the Mustang suspension & steering system, and occurs independent from any steering wheel input. The effect of bumpsteer is for the wheel to toe-in or toe-out when the suspension moves up or down. This toe change or “steering” occurs any time the suspension moves, whether it is from body roll, brake-dive, or hitting a bump in the road. Excessive bump steer that occurs from lowering or altering suspension geometry is undesirable because the suspension is giving you unwanted steering inputs from the excessive toe changes.
Team Z motorsports has researched and developed a variety of different Mustang suspension components to have your vehicle handling, cornering, and performing better than ever. Choose from Team Z tubular k-members, drag springs, anti roll bars, control arms, bumpsteer kits, panhard bars, and many more suspension components for your Mustang. These parts have been built and tested by Team Z for maximum performance on and off the track.
