This EGR valve is a direct replacement valve for 1996-2004 Mustang 4.6L motors. Featuring factory style construction, this bolt on exhaust gas recirculation valve is a quick and easy fix for a clogged or malfunctioning valve. Gasket is included and factory hardware will be reused.

What Is An EGR Valve
An EGR, Exhaust Gas Recirculation, valve recirculates a portion of an engine's exhaust gas back to the engine cylinders. This keeps your engine running efficiently while cutting down on exhaust emissions. These valves usually do not require maintenance, but can become clogged with carbon deposits which could cause rough idle, decreased fuel mileage, overheating, and sometimes engine knock.

Fitment Note
- This EGR valve does NOT fit the 2003-2004 Mustang Cobra.
