1986-1993 Mustangs required a vacuum source to run the A/C, Power Brake, and Cruise Control Systems. This is the plastic vacuum tree that attaches to the firewall above the brake booster on 86-93 5.0L Mustangs. It served as a "distribution" center for the main vacuum source and supplied all the smaller vacuum systems with the vacuum they needed. Since they were made of plastic, they were prone to cracking or breaking with age, which left the vacuum system nonfunctional. If your A/C vents are only Blowing out of the defroster vents....check here first!
