This is the perfect restoration part to get your engine bay looking and performing like showroom new! The factory rubber coupler can become brittle and cracked causing improper sealing against the MAF housing and airbox which results in air leaks. 5.0 Resto's rubber coupler is manufactured exclusively for Late Model Restoration in the factory durometer rubber to give your 1989-1993 Mustang the factory replacement that your Mustang needs! This 5.0 Resto coupler includes the factory style worm gear clamp in a black finish to attach the coupler to the MAF sensor and a factory-style wire clamp to secure the coupler to the filter housing.

Application Note

The 5.0 Resto coupler can be used on 1986-1988 Mustangs that are converting to a mass air setup.

5.0 Resto Quality
5.0 Resto is dedicated to the preservation of Fox Body Mustangs and the quality of their research and development can easily be seen with this factory reproduction air box. Manufactured with an OE fit and finish in mind, this air box is constructed from a durable, black, injected molded plastic. Utilizing factory dimensions and tolerances, this box is a perfect fit and a direct replacement for the original. Built in metal latches allow this air box to open and close the same as the factory box. A new foam seal is pre-installed to promote a leak-free seal to the fender apron. To prevent the box from rattling, 5.0 Resto includes new rubber dampers that help secure the box in place. The opening for the mass air flow coupler or intake tube is identical in size to the original, making this the perfect restoration part for both speed density and mass air equipped Fox Body Mustangs!

Installation Note
The pre-installed foam seal will need the excess material removed before installation.
