After numerous years of service, the electronically controlled engine parameter sensors tend to wear out and produce erratic signals, causing poor engine performance. A defective idle air control motor can be quite havoc for your Cobra as its entire job is to control changes in the idle caused by increases or decreases in engine load. An IAC can fail from excess carbon build-up that normally causes surges and poor idle quality. This sensor is bolted directly to the throttle body with two mounting bolts and plugs into the factory engine harness, making installation a breeze. The gasket is NOT included.
