Matrix Tubular K Member & Control Arm Kit

If you are looking to save weight and get the most out of your 1994-2004 Mustang, this black hammertone Team Z Matrix tubular k-member & control arm kit is the solution. With a tubular construction, these components drop weight, give you more clearance in your engine bay, and add rigidity to your chassis. This lightweight k-member directly replaces your factory member, bolting into all factory mounting points. This k-member also stiffen up your chassis and give you more clearance in your engine bay. Includes motor mount pads for factory-style motor mounts. Requires offset rack bushings and a coilover kit.

Tubular Control Arms

These non-adjustable a-arms add strength and durability to your suspension while giving you better clearance underneath your vehicle. Designed for use with Team Z k-members, these arms use quality ball joints and energy suspension bushings for maximum performance. Constructed from 4130 chrome molly and are tig welded for added rigidity. Finish with a tough black powder coating for great looks.

Application

1996-2004 Ford Mustangs with 4.6L 2V/3V/4V, 5.4L 2V/3V/4V, and 5.8L 4V Modular based engines
1996-2004 Ford Mustangs with 5.0L/5.2L Coyote based engine

Modified Application

1994-1995 Ford Mustang with 4.6L 2V/3V/4V, 5.4L 2V/3V/4V, and 5.8L 4V Modular based engines
1994-1995 Ford Mustang with 5.0L/5.2L Coyote based engine

Required Parts:

Requires the use of coil overs.
Requires the use of caster camber plates.
This kit uses Fox Body style ball joints and will REQUIRE the ball joint spacer kit when using SN95 spindles.

Product Note

Oil filter relocation kit may be required for 03/04 Cobra.
Factory and aftermarket engine mounts may have alignment pins that can cause fitment issues. Removal of the alignment pin might be necessary for correct mating of engine mount to k-member.
Clunks, squeaks, and pops can be normal occurrences with coil-over setups
Coil-over conversion may reduce the area between the strut and wheel. High positive offset wheels or wide wheels may have clearance issues between wheels/tires and coil-over setup.
Depending on your vehicle, modification of the stock steering shaft or a low-profile steering shaft may be required.
Team Z K-member will not work with UPR motor mounts. Fitment and alignment issues will keep the engine from resting correctly.
