As the factory plastic on the dash of your Lightning ages, it becomes weaker and brittle, which can cause the mounting tabs of your HVAC controls to break and crack. Since the factory screw retainers are metal and the mounting hole they secure to is plastic, this is inevitable. LMR has put together a solution based kit to remedy this common issue. The bracket in the kit is made from durable steel and then powder coated to ensure a long lasting mounting point that is corrosion resistant. Correctly placed mounting holes will make this installation simple, allowing you to properly restore your 1st gen sports truck!
