This 4.11 gear kit for your 2000-2004 SVT Lightning is a great way to increase acceleration and performance in your truck. The 2000-04 Ford SVT Lightning's came with 3.55 or 3.73 ratio gears from the factory depending on the year model, which was great for fuel economy. This 4.11 gear kit is designed to improve acceleration or simply repair a noisy differential with a different gear ratio. This kit features everything you need to swap out your rear gears such as a set of 4.11 rear gears, pinion, gear install kit, Three bottles of Royal Purple 75w-140 Max-Gear gear oil, and a bottle of Ford Racing friction modifier.

Royal Purple Gear Oil
This Royal Purple Max-Gear gear oil is ultra-tough automotive gear oil. It’s designed to maximize power and provide unsurpassed protection to heavily loaded gears. It makes gears run smoother, quieter, cooler, and longer without overhauls. Max-Gear outperforms other gear oils because it combines the highest quality synthetic oils with Royal Purple’s proprietary Synslide additive technology.

Ford Racing Friction Modifier
Ford Racing friction modifier is a specially formulated additive to provide smooth operation of clutch-type limited-slip differentials. 1 bottle of friction modifier is required when changing the gear oil in rear ends equipped with Ford traction-lock units.

  • Yukon does NOT scribe the pinion depth into the pinion head on new gearsets. If needed, you can contact the Yukon Tech Department at (425) 348-9002 for any setup questions. 
  • Due to the nature of aftermarket gears, Gear Whine can be more evident with these gears, especially on deceleration.
  • LMR Recommends The 75w140 Viscosity For All 9.75" Differentials As It Is Appropriate For Most Climates, Fuel Economy.
