Safely relieve the pressure that builds up in your 1999-2004 Lightning's fuel tank with a new vapor valve. Positioned on the top of the fuel tank, the heavy-duty plastic vapor valve vents fuel vapors to the carbon canister, reducing in-tank pressure build-up. Equipped with a flanged, 90-degree vent hose nipple, the vapor valve utilizes the factory size vent hose to release fuel pressure and prevent tank expansion. An included rubber o-ring is seated just below the mounting flange for an optimal tank to valve seal. Eliminate the potential of vapor causing fuel tank expansion, replace your SVT Lightning's vapor valve during your next fuel system maintenance period.
