It has specially designed tabs to slide in beside the radio and release the 4 locking tabs that hold it in place. With all 4 tabs released, the head unit slides right out. It's as easy as that.
How To Remove Factory Fox Body & Sn-95 Radio
To remove a 1987-2004 Mustang radio, simply slide these release tools into the two openings on the side of the factory radio. Push them in until you hear a click. Once they have clicked, they will have released the radio from the dash. Slide the radio out and unhook and connectors that are attached to the radio.
