Mustang Ford Performance One Piece Aluminum Driveshaft (05-10)

Bolt-on quicker acceleration reduced weight and rotational mass with Ford Performance's 2005-2010 Mustang GT one-piece aluminum driveshaft! The factory S197 driveshaft is a heavy, two-piece design that is prone to failure in high-performance applications. Ford Performance has designed this one-piece aluminum driveshaft to reduce rotational mass, resulting in faster acceleration and eliminating the center bearing in the stock driveshaft. With a 3.5" diameter, this shaft is ideal for lowered Mustangs. 1350 series Dana Spicer 5-1350X solid body universal joints are utilized for strength and durability that lasts. Ford Performance balances and assembles the shaft before it leaves so it's ready to put on. This driveshaft bolts to the factory manual or automatic transmission flange for quick and easy installation.

Product Note

The transmission flange bolts are included with this driveshaft.
Measures 49-1/2" collapsed length, 50-5/8" extended length, center of u-joint to center of u-joint.

Disclaimer - Driveshaft Hardware

For 2005-2023 Ford Mustangs, it is recommended that you install new driveshaft to pinion flange bolts when removing the driveshaft. The driveshaft to pinion flange bolts are torque to yield and should be torqued to 41ft-lbs.
