Increase the performance and exterior appearance of your 5.0 Mustang with this Mach 1 style Ford Performance active exhaust upgrade kit! Featured in this kit are the same components found on factory Mach 1 Mustangs.This kit is uniquely designed and tuned to provide optimum performance and aggressive sound. Utilizing the unique styling of the Mach 1 rear valance and diffuser will give your S550 functional aerodynamics and a sporty look. Ford's Mach 1 axle back exhaust provides a signature sound on active exhaust-equipped Mustangs which allows you to improve the sound of your exhaust, whether the valve is open or closed. Ford Performance includes all of the supporting components needed for installation from the mud flaps, trim pieces, exhaust clamps, and all of the hardware. 

Mach 1 Axle Back
Featured in this kit is the Mach 1 axle back utilized on production cars. Each muffler was specially designed to provide an amplified exhaust note while improving performance. Each kit is constructed of 2.5" 304 stainless steel, mandrel bent tubing to give you the performance increase of a free-flowing exhaust system. The rear axle back is finished with a set of polished, quad exhaust tips that fit perfectly in the included Mach 1 rear valance and diffuser. Ford Performance pre-installs brand-new active exhaust modules and valves that will hook up to your factory active exhaust harness, so there is no need to swap over the originals. This exhaust system is 50-state drive-by noise legal when installed on a stock Mustang.

Mach 1 Rear Valance & Diffuser
To complete this kit, Ford Performance includes the production rear valance and diffuser found on the 2021-2022 Mach 1! Designed and tested to improve aerodynamics on the factory Mach 1 Mustang, your S550 Mustang 5.0 will see similar improvements for underbody turbulence. A honeycomb, rear valance finishes out this kit with openings to house the 4" diameter quad exhaust tips. OEM-style honeycomb texture is used throughout which blends flawlessly with the OEM bumper for a factory fit and finish we've come to expect with Ford Performance parts. Each kit will include a set of mud flaps to not only protect your paint but provide a finishing touch to the valance. Unique to the Mach 1 rear valance is the added rear diffuser that smooths out airflow and redirects it through the rear valance. The combination of this diffuser and valance, along with the added exhaust, is sure to completely transform both the performance and styling of your S550 Mustang!

Is this the same exhaust used on the Mustang Mach 1?
The kit features the Mach 1 axle-back exhaust and Mach 1-style rear valance and diffuser components used on production Mach 1 Mustangs.

Does the Mach 1 exhaust kit require transferring the factory valves?
No. The active exhaust modules and valves are pre-installed on the Ford Performance axle-back, so the original components do not need to be transferred.
