Ford Performance Hi-Performance Cam Drive Kit - Gen 2 5.0

Rebuilding and upgrading the timing components on your 2015-2017 Mustang 5.0 Gen 2 Coyote engine couldn't be easier with this Ford Performance hi-performance cam drive kit! Whether you are freshening up your existing engine or building a new one, this Ford Performance kit has all the right parts you need. With performance in mind, Ford Performance set out to provide improved acceleration and unmatched durability with this kit. Each primary timing chain is 10% stronger than the production chains for strength during high-speed endeavors due to the double-row roller design. Steel Boss 302 timing chain tensioners eliminate slack from your timing chains during harsh driving conditions. A set of GT350R low-leak intake and exhaust cam phasers are included to allow for better cam timing control in the higher RPM range. These phasers are used in the later year range GT350R, which have significantly reduced internal oil leak rate compared to standard Coyote phasers. This allows highly precise VCT control during heavy engine load at higher RPMs. Ford Performance completes this kit with a new steel crankshaft sprocket, dowel pins, and fasteners to finish out the installation of your new timing components.

Fits 2015-2017 Mustang 5.0 Coyote engine.
The secondary tensioners in this kit have superseded the original tensioners and are shorter by design. These will install into your factory cam caps with no issues. The retaining clip for the bottom of the tensioner will no longer be required.
