Fitment Notice

The secondary tensioners in this kit have superseded the original tensioners and are shorter by design. These will install into your factory cam caps with no issues. The retaining clip for the bottom of the tensioner will no longer be required.

If you are installing new camshafts or replacing high mileage parts, the Ford Performance camshaft drive kit is a great place to start with new timing parts. It is recommended that chains, phasers, bolts and guides be replaced when you install new camshafts or when an engine has high mileage. Phaser bolts for instance are one time use only bolts, requiring a new set to be installed with new phasers. Ford Performance has put everything together in one spot to replace all your timing chain components, including bolts and hardware!
