Ford Performance Double Roller Timing Chain Kit
Ensure proper timing of your engine with this Ford Performance timing-chain set for your 1992-1996 Ford Bronco. The timing chain is an integral part of your engine's rotating assembly and keeps the crank and camshaft in time with each other. The factory timing chain can stretch and get slop in it, causing an uneven timing reading on your engine and potentially damaging components. It's always a best practice to replace your timing set anytime you are installing a new camshaft or refreshing a higher mileage engine. This full roller chain with a 9-position multi-index crank sprocket has 2-degree increments for timing adjustment of up to 8 degrees retarded, 8 degrees advanced, or straight-up (no advance or retard). Includes a cam sprocket that is made from cast iron and a crank sprocket that is made of induction-hardened, billet steel. A double-row heat-treated timing chain with oversized 0.250-inch rollers that deliver long life, durability, and reliability. Supplied in this kit is a new steel thrust plate and a 1-inch camshaft dowel pin come to complete your installation.
