Pedestal Mount Rocker Arm Shim Kit
You need this Ford Performance (FPRP) M-6529-A302 Rocker Shim Kit if you are running Pedestal Mount Rocker Arms on your 5.0L Mustang! While Mustang pedestal mount rocker arms are known for their easy bolt down & go installation, their main flaw is that there is no adjustability! Luckily Ford Racing offers this pedestal mount rocker arm shim kit to aid in achieving proper lifter preload.
Shim Kit Note
The shim kit includes 16 0.030" shims & 16 0.060" shims to cover the proper setting of one rocker arm set. You can even stack the shims for more adjustability! it is recommended that if stacking shims only to stack a 0.030" & a 0.060" to achieve 0.090". If more adjustment is needed a different length pushrod should be sourced.
