Ford Performance Gen 4 Coyote Intake Manifold
Make sure you are getting all of the performance out of your S650 with a 2024-2025 Mustang 5.0 intake manifold from Ford Performance! Ford designed the Gen 4 Coyote intake manifold found on the 2024-2025 Mustang GT/Dark Horse intake with a dual 80mm throttle body. This leads to more airflow for increased horsepower over previous-generation Coyote engines! Each factory intake manifold on previous Coyote engines has featured single-blade throttle body setups. The only time we have seen something remotely similar on Mustangs was the 4.6L Cobra, Mach 1, Bullitt, and 07-14 GT500s, where Ford utilized a twin-blade throttle body in a single housing. The addition of a second 80mm throttle body, according to Ford, helps provide increased horsepower. Ford states, “A biased strategy toward on throttle body opening at low RPM and load for efficiency, but the two work together and sync up on the way to wide open throttle to maximize power. The 2024-2025 intake is equipped with actuators, sensors, and vacuum lines that control valves inside the intake manifold.
