After-market K-Members can sometimes move the front suspension forward causing interference with the front sway bar. Maximum Motorsports offers a kit to relocate the front sway bar as well to solve this problem.

Maximum Motorsports Front Swaybar Relocation Kit for 1979-93 Mustang
MM designed these kits to move the front swaybar mounts forward on the chassis. This may be of help when setting up a car with an aftermarket K-Member, or front control arms which move the front wheels forward. When the control arms move forward, clearance problems may arise with the front swaybar—the ends of the swaybar might hit the front struts or the end links may not be vertical. When ordering a relocation kit you must also order a set of Universal Swaybar bushings. The stock swaybar brackets and bushings will not fit the relocation bracket. On a 1979-93 Mustang, it is strongly recommended that you also purchase a Front Swaybar Bracket Reinforcement Kit (MMFSB-60) with this kit.
