Maximum Motorsports Bolt-Through Bump Steer Kit
Achieve a wide range of bump steer adjustments thanks to Maximum Motorsports bolt-through bump steer kit for the 1979-1993 Mustang. If you need a greater range of adjustment on your 1979-1993 Mustang tapered stud style kit, this kit will allow you to convert to a bolt-through style kit. By doing so, you are able to get far more adjustment out of the bumpsteer kit by being able to fine-tune where the spherical rod end lines up. Whether you need a few small spacers or have an extreme alignment setting, this allows you to dial it in perfectly. Black anodized aluminum adapter sleeves with spherical rod end thread directly into the factory's inner tie rod end. Includes are two different lengths of 5/8" grade 8 bolts to ensure the best length for your Fox Body. Machined hex on the aluminum adapter sleeves is easily accessible because it is at the inner end of the aluminum sleeve, clear of the tire. Maximum Motorsports spacers are stronger than others being made of chrome-moly steel and will not buckle when the bolt is tightened. As always measurement and adjustment of bumpsteer and a good front-end alignment are required after installation.
