Nitrous Outlet X-Series Wet Nitrous Plate System - 4150 Carb
Make fast, easy power on your 4150-style carbureted 1979-1985 Mustang 5.0 with this Nitrous Outlet wet plate system! Designed to add 50-175 horsepower to your car, the plate system will turn your Fox Body into a powerful weapon. A wet plate system feeds both nitrous and fuel into the system to help keep your air/fuel ratios in line. This single-stage kit comes with a billet aluminum plate to fit your dual-plane or single-plane design manifold and is capable of high horsepower flow numbers. Nitrous Outlet includes all necessary braided stainless hoses, high-quality gaskets, relays, and mounting hardware, so Installation is a breeze.
Nitrous Plate Kit
The star of the show is the 3/4" thick CNC machined 6061 billet aluminum nitrous plate which is black anodized for great looks and corrosion resistance. Then, it is laser etched with logos and Fuel / N2O entry markings for easy identification. Internal fuel and nitrous passages, as well as the discharge passages, are precision drilled for precise flow and atomization and feature 10 nitrous/fuel discharge holes on each side. Nitrous Outlets' two-piece design allows for optimal discharge angles to get an even pattern possible in a single billet bar style plate and the evenest distribution.
Nitrous & Fuel
A CNC-machined stainless steel body is the basis of the solenoids using heavy-duty coils that are encapsulated in epoxy to resist vibration. Using color-coded insulation, the solenoid lead wires are 14 gauge stranded wire. Nitrous solenoid features a 1/4" NPT inlet, 1/8" NPT purge port, and 1/8" NPT bottom outlet, while the fuel solenoid features a 1/8" NPT inlet/outlet. Four sets of jets are included in the nitrous kit that allows for increases of 50, 100, 150, and 175 horsepower.
10lb Nitrous Bottle
Nitrous Outlet includes a nitrous bottle of the 10lb variety that is covered in a gloss black powder coat. A black anodized high-flow billet bottle valve finishes off the look. Featuring two 1/8" NPT ports on the side that allow easy additions of nitrous pressure gauges, nitrogen-assisted pressure systems, or nitrous pressure sensors. The nitrous bottle is held in place with dual stainless steel band-type bottle brackets.
- Due to the spacer between the intake manifold and throttle body, modifications to the intake tube and/or other components may be required for proper clearances.
- With the addition of a nitrous, turbo, or supercharger kit; custom tuning will be required for your car to run properly and safe.
