Enhance your suspension performance and adjust the ride height with this 1994-2004 Mustang QA1 double-adjustable Proma Star coil-over strut kit featuring 300-lb springs. Whether you are looking for a more aggressive suspension, a decent street ride, or a performance setup for autocross or road racing, QA1's coilover strut kit has what you need. A major advantage of the Proma Star strut is its inverted cartridge design. Unlike conventional designs, its large-diameter shaft resists side loading, ensuring smoother and more consistent performance during hard cornering and braking. With an adjustable ride height, you can adjust the fender-to-wheel gap for car shows and then lock in the ideal center of gravity to maximize performance on the track. This kit utilizes a track-ready 300lb spring that is powder-coated in a gloss black finish to resist rust. Included in this kit are two coilover struts, two springs, two caster camber plates, and all the unique mounting hardware needed.

QA1 Quality
High-performance DOM steel is used for superior strength. A fully threaded body allows height adjustment from stock to 2.0" lowered with the use of the threaded collar. QA1 double adjustable coil over strut kit provides different adjustments with a single turn of a knob! Eighteen valving settings on one knob simultaneously adjust compression and rebound independently on the shock. Constructed in the USA, QA1 dyno tests and serializes each kit to ensure superior quality control, while also being fully serviceable and rebuildable by any QA1 authorized service center. Aluminum caster camber plates are an excellent way to enhance the handling and performance of your Mustang. A durable red anodized finish resists corrosion and looks good in your engine bay. Adjustment notes

Pressing the adjustment knob DOWN will adjust the Compression valving of the strut. Pulling the adjustment knob UP will adjust the Rebound valving.
Out of box, the strut should be at zero compression and rebound setting, or both adjustments turned counterclockwise to stop. From the zero setting with the knob in the Compression position (pushed down), adjust clockwise to the desired setting. The Rebound setting will remain in the zero position.
To adjust Rebound, pull the knob up to the Rebound adjust position and adjust clockwise to the desired setting.
Either setting can now be adjusted up or down from the initial setting. When in doubt, turn the Compression to zero and then Rebound to zero and readjust.
