QA1 Tubular K-Member - Modular/Coyote
Dramatically reduce weight on the front of your 1994-2004 Mustang with a Modular/Coyote engine with this QA1 tubular K-member! QA1's redesigned K-member is over 50% lighter than your factory K-member, coming in at only 25 pounds! Eliminating this much weight will greatly reduce track times while stiffening up your front end! To go along with the weight savings, QA1's tubular K-member will also improve suspension geometry as well as provide an optimized control arm and steering rack mounting location. All of this is achieved while retaining the factory wheelbase!

QA1 Quality
QA1 designed this K-member to reduce weight, improve header & oil pan clearance, as well as suspension geometry. All of this was completed and built with the highest quality, American-made HSLA steel right here in the USA! By digitally indexing a new, factory K-member, QA1's tubular K-member is a direct bolt-on installation. Their removable engine mounts will support your 4.6 engine, but can easily be changed out for future engine swaps! This will be the last K-member you have to buy!

Required Parts

Requires the use of coilovers
Requires the use of caster camber plates.
While stock control arms can be used with this k-member, it is highly recommended that the QA1 control arms are used. Stock and other brand control arms are not compatible with this k-member.
Requires the use of an aftermarket telescoping steering shaft for installation.

Fitment Notice

1994-2004 Ford Mustangs with 4.6, 5.4, and Coyote based engines
Factory and aftermarket engine mounts may have alignment pins that can cause fitment issues. Removal of the alignment pin might be necessary for correct mating of engine mount to k-member.
Depending on your vehicle, modification of the stock steering shaft or a low-profile steering shaft may be required.
