Ram HDX Clutch Master Kit - 10.5" - 10 Spline - Billet Flywheel
Replace your 1982-1995 Mustang 5.0 clutch easily with this Ram HDX Clutch Master Kit with a billet flywheel! This complete kit is designed to replace everything needed to do a thorough clutch swap, including a rear main seal to fix that common 5.0 oil leak while you are there! This kit features all of the needed components to get your clutch replaced and your Mustang back on the road. This all-in-one kit features a Ram HDX clutch kit with 10-spline disc, Ram billet steel flywheel, pressure plate bolts, dowel kit, flywheel bolts, rear main seal, and pilot bearing.
Ram HDX Clutch 10.5" Kit
The RAM HDX Clutch kits are the perfect performance upgrade for your daily driver/hot rod Mustang 5.0. The RAM Pressure Plate features an increased clamp load of 2500lb (compared to the stock pressure plate at 2000lb clamp load) while maintaining a great pedal feel. The RAM 10 spline clutch disc is faced with the 300 series friction material on both sides & features a 5-spring center hub for excellent shock absorption. The 300 series material consists of steel-backed organic facing material that greatly increases rotational strength.
Ram Billet Flywheel
This RAM Billet Steel Flywheel is recommended as a replacement for the factory Cast Flywheel in your high-performance or race Mustang. The stock Cast Flywheel is not explosion-proof and can be dangerous when used in your high-performance Mustang at higher RPMs. This RAM Billet Steel Flywheel is CNC machined from certified materials and exceeds SFI specifications. After machining, the Flywheel is blanchard ground parallel to the crankshaft mounting surface ensuring minimum runout and the optimum mating surface for the clutch disc. Use a Billet Steel Flywheel in a heavier drag race Mustang or for the best driveability in your street-driven Mustang.
