Replace the malfunctioning PCV valve in your 2010-2014 F-150 Raptor with this Ford OEM replacement valve! This PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve is located on the passenger side valve cover and attaches to the PCV hose that connects between the valve cover and the intake manifold. The PCV valve is part of the positive crankcase ventilation system, which re-routes the crankcase blow-by to the intake manifold and back to the engine, where it's re-burned in the cylinders as part of the fuel/air mixture. This cuts emission pollution and increases fuel economy because unburned fuel in the blow-by is consumed the second time around. It also keeps the blow-by and water vapor from fouling the oil in the crankcase, thus reducing the formation of engine sludge. The heated PCV allows the vapor to be heated, allowing it to stay in a vapor form until it reaches the intake during cooler temperatures. Featuring a durable plastic construction with the factory-style hose connections and a simple quarter turn installation into the passenger side valve cover.
