Restore the on and off-road performance of your Crew Cab 2010-2014 SVT Raptor the right way using this Fox Racing rear shock pair from Ford. SVT set the Raptor apart from the rest of the truck market by focusing on suspension, with its true innovation lying in the Fox Racing co-developed shocks. Specially constructed for the Raptor Program, Ford was granted exclusive use of Fox Racing's patented internal triple-bypass shock technology. An internal triple-bypass shock divides piston travel into segments, optimizing motion for specific points along the stroke. Meaning that the shock can be set up to be very progressive, and is not only velocity-sensitive, but also position-sensitive, and is very finely tuned.

2.5 Factory Series Shock Construction
SVT/Fox shocks are engineered to offer the benefits of more expensive shocks without unnecessary complexity or features, resulting in greater durability and long-term reliability. Utilizing a 2.5" aluminum body with an external reservoir, which is larger than the standard 2.0", this provides more fluid capacity for better heat dissipation. This helps keep the temperature of the shock oil in check, reducing cavitation and minimizing shock fade. Billet aluminum shock caps are anodized blue to resist corrosion and reduce overall weight. The beefy, 7/8" shock shaft is made with heat-treated alloy steel and then completed in a hardened, chrome-plate finish. Shock travel is controlled by a beefed-up, aluminum 47mm floating piston, with an OEM-inspired shim and seal pack to provide driver confidence. Specially formulated rubber bushings were developed and used in place of a solid heim joint to pass all of Ford's durability testing, while maintaining compliance. Each shock includes a new durable plastic Raptor rear shock shin guard to protect the seals and shock shaft from damage.
