SVE SVO Style Front Brake Kit - 4 Lug w/ Drilled & Slotted RotorsDecrease the stopping distance in your 1987-1993 Fox Body Mustang 5.0 with this 5-lug SVE SVO front brake kit with drilled and slotted rotors! A popular brake upgrade on the later model Fox Body Mustangs was to upgrade your factory brake calipers to the larger SVO calipers. SVE took this a step further, making a full kit with upgraded drilled slotted rotors, stainless lines, upgraded slider pin bushing, and all-new bearings. These SVE Calipers provide improved braking capabilities by utilizing a larger 73mm piston as compared to the smaller stock 60mm piston size. Adding a pair of brand-new SVO style front brake calipers from SVE will have your Fox Body stopping better in no time.
SVE SVO Calipers
These SVE calipers feature a 100% brand-new construction to ensure superior quality control and avoid relying on decade-old cores. An added benefit of these SVE calipers is the use of an upgraded steel 73mm piston, which is stronger and less prone to cracking like the cheaper phenolic pistons used by many. These SVE brake calipers feature a bare finish so that they are ready for you to paint or powder coat any color you want. The SVE SVO-style brake calipers come loaded with a semi-metallic compound pad that is heavy-duty enough for weekend track days and the occasional autocross event yet gentle enough to still be used on a daily driver without excessive rotor wear. With all new pins, sliders, bleeder screws, rubber covers, and banjo bolts needed for a quick and easy installation.
PowerStop Evolution Drilled & Slotted Rotors
Evolution drilled, and slotted brake rotors give you a combination of excellent cooling and maximum performance during extreme conditions! Precision machined with cross-drilled holes for maximum cooling while the rounded slots sweep away gas and moisture for a controlled contact patch, allowing smooth, safe braking. Silver zinc dichromate plating resists rust and corrosion, keeping your rotors looking new for years to come. Rotors are 100% mill-balanced and precision-made with the correct 11" diameter, 5 lug bolt pattern, and vane count as the originals. The machined cross-hatched finish on the friction surface allows for optimal pad break-in and smooth, trouble-free performance.
Complete Your InstallationSVE front brake caliper sleeve replaces those rubber bushings with stainless steel sleeves that prevent caliper movement for improved braking and full pad contact - helping to extend pad and rotor life and making the rotors less prone to warping from uneven pad contact. Supplied in this kit are J&M D.O.T. certified Teflon-lined braided stainless brake hoses. Installation of their Teflon-lined stainless steel hose assemblies will give your Mustang a firmer pedal, quicker braking response, and easier brake modulation. Rounding out the kit is a full set of wheel bearings, dust caps, spindle nuts, and Inner grease seals for your new rotors.
