These 2005-2014 Mustang progressive rate lowering springs from SVE are a great way to improve the handling in your S197. By installing these springs, you lower your vehicle's center of gravity, which reduces squat during acceleration, body roll while cornering, and excessive nose diving under hard braking conditions. This kit is perfect for daily driving, road racing, and drag racing your Mustang. Not only do these SVE springs improve the performance of your S197 Mustang, but they also give it an aggressive new look. By lowering your vehicle, you reduce the amount of gap between your fenders and wheels for a sleek, show-ready stance with perfect fitment. Featuring a drop of up to 1.4" in the front and a drop in the back of up to 1.5", your Mustang will look and handle way better than its stock form!

Do I Need Anything Else For Installation?
While these springs can be installed on most Mustangs without the need for additional parts, there are a few things you want to consider when installing Mustang lowering springs.

Caster Camber Plates - When lowering your Mustang, your suspension geometry will change. This will cause your front end’s alignment to become out of spec, leading to uneven tire wear. A set of caster camber plates will allow you to easily align your Mustang correctly.
Panhard Bars - When installing lowering springs on your S197 Mustang, it causes your rear axle to become uncentered. Installing an adjustable panhard bar will correct your rear axle centering and help prevent wheel and tire rubbing.
Shocks/Struts - Adding lowering springs can take its toll on factory suspension, not to mention, you might be overdue for new shocks and struts. This is the perfect time to address shocks and struts while you have the suspension torn apart for your lowering spring install.
Bumpsteer Kit - Complete your SVE upgrade with a bump steer kit. Lowering a Mustang can cause bump steer - the tendency for the wheel of a car to change directions when you hit a bump. This easy-to-install kit replaces your factory tie rods with heavy-duty, spherical rod ends that adjust and correct your suspension geometry to prevent bump steer.

Fits 2005-2014 V6, GT, Bullitt, Boss 302 - Coupe
Will NOT fit 2007-2014 Shelby GT500.
Due to weight differences, LMR does not recommend installing these springs on a convertible. Convertibles have extra weight added from increased bracing, the convertible top frame, and top motors that result in these springs dropping the car more than advertised.
