Our Special Vehicle Equipment®(SVE) 1999-2004 Mustang adjustable transmission crossmember kit provides a simple solution for more exhaust clearance and transmission swap options. Designed to allow for easier transmission swaps, as well as adding extra clearance for larger diameter exhaust, while still using the factory mounting locations. SVE's crossmember replaces your bulky factory-stamped steel assembly with a lower-profile design for a wide variety of transmissions. It is compatible with most factory transmissions, including the T45, TR3650, 4R70W, and T56. SVE includes a heavy-duty steel crossmember, rubber mount, and all new hardware in this kit, so no guesswork is needed on what you need. Heavy-duty 3/16" steel construction is utilized, precision bent to the correct shape with long slotted mounting holes for the ultimate in versatility for transmission fitment. Powder-coated in a black finish to give a factory look and resist corrosion in harsh environments for years to come. Utilizing the factory mounting hole locations provides a quick, easy, and secure placement without modifications! With new hardware, the proper lengths, and factory thread pitch, these bolts will reinstall exactly like the original hardware. The transmission mount is supplied, featuring an OE-style rubber bushing with a molded-in steel mounting bracket and studs.
