SVE Clutch Cable Firewall Reinforcement Kit
Reduce firewall flex when pressing in your clutch pedal and prevent cracks with this SVE firewall reinforcement kit for the 1982-1993 Fox Body Mustang! This kit is designed to address or prevent the commonly found cracked firewall associated with clutch cable Fox Body cars. This occurs from constant pulling back and forth on the firewall anytime the clutch is pressed and released. SVE uses a heavy-duty bracket that sandwiches between the firewall and clutch cable adjuster and ties into multiple mounting locations spreading the load while adding strength and rigidity to the area. SVE has also included an additional reinforcement bracket for the accelerator cable area to reinforce the area further.

SVE Quality Construction
To demonstrate their meticulous attention to detail, SVE utilizes only the highest quality materials to provide the solution to your cracked Fox Body firewall. Made from durable steel construction that is precision laser cut and accurately bent with all of the correct mounting. The main bracket is made from thick 12 gauge steel with the proper size opening for the SVE billet aluminum firewall adjuster. To protect the reinforcement brackets, SVE applies a satin black powder coating that will resist heat and corrosion. For additional peace of mind, the brackets are manufactured in the USA. Supplied in the kit is a billet aluminum quick-click SVE clutch cable adjuster that the bracket was designed to work with. All of the needed hardware includes a corrosion-resistant finish to protect against the exterior elements and ensure everything is securely fastened.  SVE is dedicated to providing a premium-quality solution at an economical price, saving you time and money!

Fitment Notice
  • 1979-81 Mustangs will have to run the later 1982-93 pedal assembly for proper fitment and alignment
  • As mentioned in the video, the threads may need to be cleaned of the powder coat in order for the provided screws to thread through easily.
