Some of the biggest expenses of swapping a 5.0L Coyote into your SN95 or New Edge are a set of Coyote swap-specific long tube headers, matching mid-pipe, and an entire new K-member needed for clearing the long tubes. These parts can add a lot of cost to your swap and oftentimes require specific part numbers for them to properly work together. SVE's Coyote swap shorty headers are designed to use the factory exhaust connection points, which allows you to use any factory or aftermarket mid-pipe designed for the 96-04 4.6L 2V or 4V engines, as well as the stock 4.6 k-member. When using SVE coyote swap shorty headers, you will also gain additional clearance and room for serviceability around the starter, steering shaft, and bellhousing/clutch. Quality Construction SVE Coyote swap shorty header features 1-3/4" exhaust ports that flow into a compact log-style manifold and utilize 2.5" collectors with the correct 4.6 mid-pipe flanges. These SVE Headers are constructed from 321 stainless steel, and each joint has been meticulously tig-welded together for both great looks and durability. These headers are finished in a gorgeous bronze ceramic coating for lifelong good looks under the hood while helping to reduce engine bay temperatures. A thick 7/16" header flange is put into place to help reduce the chance of warping and improve cylinder head sealing. These flanges feature slotted lower bolt holes to help ease the installation and mate up to OEM quality multi-layer steel header gaskets to provide a superior seal. Included with this kit are multi-layer steel gaskets to ensure an air-tight seal between the RH header flange and mid-pipe, as well as the header flange to cylinder heads. SVE also supplies new high-strength hardware including header bolts, collector bolts, and lock nuts, to completely finish out your installation.

Since the dawn of the Coyote swap in 96-04 Mustangs, all of us (for the most part) have followed the same methodology; purchase long tube headers, the matching mid-pipe, and a k-member. We've done all that stuff! Several, several times! All of those parts work great, but we wanted to take a different approach and repurpose components that were already on the car.
