2005-2017 Mustang Tremec T56 Magnum XL 6-Speed Trans - 2.66 First Gear
Upgrading your 2005-2017 Mustang with a Tremec T56 Magnum XL 6-speed transmission w/ 2.66 1st gear is just what you need. This Magnum transmission will handle up to 700lb-ft of torque and will provide crisp, clean shifts throughout the RPM range to keep your 2005-2014 Mustang shifting perfectly on and off the track. Triple cone synchronizers on gears 1-4, double cone synchronizers on gears 5-6, as well as reverse, improve shifts. With a new extended length tail section and a 2.66 1st gear, it eliminates the semi-remote shifter found in many popular late-model transmissions. It also eliminates the multiple shifter locations and dual speedo outputs. This Magnum XL features an SFI 6.1 certified scatterproof bellhousing, cross member, transmission mount, and isolated shifter and shift ball. It even reuses the OEM hydraulic clutch release system and has electronic speedo provisions. The input shaft carries 26 splines so a new 26 spline clutch and the output shaft is 31 splines as well will require a custom driveshaft.
