Motorcraft A/C Compressor Clutch
Replace your slipping or chattering a/c clutch with this Motorcraft a/c compressor clutch for the 2011-2014 Mustang 5.0! When diagnosing air conditioning problems in your Mustang, checking the a/c compressor clutch is always a good start. The a/c clutch is attached to the front of your compressor and engages when your a/c is turned on. The assembly houses the pulley that the accessory drive belt rides on. When these go bad, your clutch can chatter, clank, and make other various noises. The clutch will also not engage the compressor keeping your HVAC system from blowing cool air. This can easily be checked by watching the clutch while the a/c system is turned on. Motorcraft's a/c clutch is made of quality steel construction housing with tight tolerances and correct internal clutch components for proper function. Built with the correct 6 rib belt design and a simple bolt on installation it is a direct replacement for your original unit. Supplied in this kit is all the necessary hardware need to install your new a/c clutch including new bolts, washers, and snap ring.
