With only two years of production left, not many changes were made to the Mustang. New for 1992 were color-keyed bodyside protection moldings and bumper rub strips for the LX and colored side protection moldings for the GT! Even though this was a minor change it served to "clean-up" the overall appearance of the LX. Additionally, the 4-way power driver's seat was added as well.
There was also a new Vibrant Red convertible model that was released during the second half of 1992. By the end of the year, the Mustang regained the lead over both the Camaro and Firebird by selling a total of 79,280 units. Check out the 1992 Mustang Specs below!
