The regular Mustangs for 2008 went unchanged. However, for 2008, there were two new option packages. The first of these was the "Warriors in Pink". Ford donated $500 for each Mustang sold to Susan G. Komen for the cure organization. The second was the Bullitt Package which was available in dark highland green or black!
The "Warriors In Pink" package was valued at $1,795 and was only offered with the V6 models in an automatic transmission. It was available in only three colors; Black, Performance White, & Brilliant Silver. Also, the package could be equipped in either a coupe or convertible. The package included a pink ribbon and Pony fender badge with pink Mustang rocker tape striping to match. Also included was a Pony fender badge, rocker tape stripe, interior pink accents, floor mats, aluminum spoke steering wheel with pink contrast stitching, unique Pony grille with chrome bezel and fog lamps, and lower tape stripe in pink.
The famous "Bullitt" package was influenced by the car used in the 1968 film called Bullit. The "Bullitt" package was first released in 2001 and then again this year in 2008.
